Fall days...
Miss Independence had her first day of enjoyment at the park yesterday. We went on the swings, down the slides and socialized with the other little park goers. ;) Praying for Cameron
I was blessed to find a blog months back...as you all may know I love reading blogs. There are amazing people out there with amazing ideas and amazing stories.
Now, one of the blogs that I found "Jessicas Treasures" is where I first read of her dear little boys struggle with an illness that the doctors are unable to diagnose. The latest findings are that the white matter surrounding his brain is dying. They have submitted blood work for Pelizaeus-Merzbacher.
Please pray for the amazing healing that only God can do for this little boy. I believe in an all powerful God that does heal. Please pray for the strength of his parents. Pray that they will remain strong and that they will have wisdom in working with the doctors to figure out what is wrong with their little boy. Pray for the doctors that they would be able to figure out exactly what is wrong with Cameron. Pray that their would be treatment.
I cannot tell you the raw place that reading this blog brings me each time I read it. There is nothing more terrifying than having a sick child. Lilly was diagnosed with Pancytopenia at the beginning of August. We thank God every day that Lilly is doing better, that she is out of the hospital and that she is thriving. God is good.
I cant help but think this could have been us. We had doctors pouring over our daughter, we had her getting numerous blood tests every day with the doctors still left scratching their heads. We held our breath every time the doctors would come into the room with blood results.
What I can tell you is that the power of prayer is what has our daughter here home with us and happy & healthy. We had close to 1,000 people praying for our daughter, she is a new girl.

These boots were made for walken...
...and that's just what they'll do...its official...Lilly G is walk'en all over me...She started walking last Wednesday. Yikes!
We have found with the new sense of independence she has quite an attitude. Wowwzza, she can throw a fit!

I have it strategically placed on my desk as my daily simple reminder.
Its one of those days folks...just reminding myself that I am letting the light in among my cracks...

I have heard a few reports that the picture quality shown here can leave a lot to be desired...

lala Lilly!
In an attempt to slow down the amount of people calling Lilly a "he" we have started to make sure she has bows in there hair at all times. Yes, I know she is dressed in an outfit that could be a boy here. She gets called a boy no matter what she is wearing...I am talking pink dresses with flowers. People are weird!
Mommy's little helper is always by my side in the kitchen. I love it!

Lilly and I went on a lovely little hike in Hartshorne Park the other day...at the end of it look at the view we found!

Dearest tummy & muffin top,
While I know that you are a result of great flavors (aka wine, ice cream and other wonderful things that I put in my mouth) & amazing memories (aka pregnancy, the stresses of motherhood) I do not like you. You make all of my clothes fit funky, you make me feel fat and I wish you away!
My favorite jeans are stuffed into a small cubby hole in my closet and I only keep them there hoping that God in His great mercies will one day let me wake up 10lb.'s lighter...lighter with no dieting and lighter that will stay that way...FOREVER!
In the mean time, thanks to word from my wonderful mother...I have found...
I have found the cutest camisole with lace trim. Its black, its my favorite thing and I will get one in every color eventually...
Muffin top and tum-tum be gone.
Bibbity, Bobbity, Boo...I am done with you...cause I am NOT giving up on the wine that I love so much and the ice cream craving that I get once in a while. ;)

God is amazing and this morning I attended my first Bible Study Fellowship class. It is going to be amazing and throughout the next 30-weeks (wowza!) we will be walking through Isiah.
Ladies, I am telling you...there are so many women there and there is free-childcare. Lilly will get to sing, play and learn about the Bible. A-m-a-z-i-n-g answer to prayer!
P.S. Thank you Sharon for telling me about this...it is just what I needed!
Now, ladies. This is an international Bible study. Chances are pretty good that there is one in YOUR area! Please, please, please take a look!

Dancing it out!
Lilly loves to dance these days. The grocery store to the music playing, the car, in front of the TV, when the music is playing on her toys...all of it!
I am hoping she doesn't inherit Ryan and my dance moves...
