What is my problem??

Last night I went to bed like most nights: spent!! The only difference is that last night I went to bed tired of being spent...does that make sense to you all?
I have been taking a step back lately and looking at this mess of a me that I have here.
I have no reason to be a mess! I have everything I could ever want in the hole wide world! What the heck is my problem?? By 7PM every night I am looking at an overwhelmed, tired, emotional, scary, sometimes blubbering woman...eeewww
I wake up sad at myself...
What happened to the confident, happy, go-with-the-flow woman that I knew? How scary is that...
Now, I know that spiritual attacks happen when you are least expecting them, but they also seem to happen when you really are just too tired to fight it!
I am defeated, I am tired, I am tired of being defeated...freaking Satan get off my back!
Lord, help me to fight, help me to be happy. Its beautiful outside, I gotta get my armor on and go out and enjoy my day!

"Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

"Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.

"And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints...." Ephesians 6:10-18

  1. I think the enemy has a special passion to torture us Moms because we are raising (or trying to) future "soldiers". You are right. All we can do is pray, put on the armor, and fight! xoxo
